On Saturday October 17, Kiev weathered another meteorological apocalypse. However, as always during heavy rains.
A heavy downpour, which the meteorologists and city authorities had warned about the day before, began to flood the city from 8:00 in the morning. Informant reports.
The streets of Lyubomir Guzar, Vaclav Havel, Vozdukhoflotsky, near the metro station Chernigovskaya, Pestel, Brozhka, Zhilyanskaya, Romen Rollan, Pushechnaya, Yerevanskaya, Getman, Preobrazhenskaya, Chaadaev, Krasnozvezdny avenue laue, on the corner of avenue Krasnozvezdny laue. Gnat Hotkevich and Pavel Usenko, Lukyanovskaya square and st. Chuguevsky.
By 2:00 p.m., the rivers had formed in areas of regular flooding, along which cars and public transport literally floated. The places with floods were in the districts of Goloseevsky, Podolsky, Pechersky, Dneprovsky, Svyatoshinsky, Shevchenko, Darnitsky, Obolonsky. There, at 6:00 p.m., all the consequences were eliminated by special teams. We also remove all flooding on the main streets of the Desnyanskiy and Solomenskiy districts.
From 5:30 p.m., all public transport in the city works as usual. Now the work continues on the street. Putivlskaya in the Desnyanskiy district and on the corner of Vinnitskaya and Molodogvardeyskaya streets in the Solomenskiy district.
Employees of the municipal corporation are working on cleaning the road network of accumulations and debris after the rain. Special equipment and 40 teams of workers for manual cleaning work in the field.
