In Kiev, a downpour flooded the streets. Two cars drowned

On the morning of Saturday October 17, a real flood occurred in Kiev due to heavy rains. As a result, two cars were drowned.

Ruslan Kramarenko, former deputy head of the Kiev city state administration, announced this on Facebook.

Thus, the incident took place at the intersection of Avtozavodskaya and Priorskaya streets. As a result, two cars drowned and traffic was paralyzed.

Also, due to the elements, many people in Kiev had to queue for public transport and get quite wet.

The public dtp.kiev.ua provided a visual video of the torrential rain in Kiev on Stetsenko Street, where some cars literally “floated” in huge puddles, while others had to drive on sidewalks.

We will recall, previous forecasters warned that on Saturday, Ukraine will be flooded with rains and wet snow will enter the Carpathians.

Also today, rescuers warned Ukrainians about a gale and severe deterioration of the weather on October 17.
