Pavlovsky was sentenced to two years in prison.

Igor Pavlovsky showed sincere remorse and cooperated with the investigation, the attorney general’s office said.

The Odessa Primorsky District Court sentenced the former assistant to former people’s deputy Igor Pavlovsky to two years in prison with a one-year probationary period. This was reported by the press service of the Attorney General’s Office on Friday, October 16.

Pavlovsky was accused of harboring an attack on activist Yekaterina Gandzyuk in July 2018.

“During the trial, the defendant fully admitted his guilt in the crime with which he was charged and asked the court to approve the plea agreement between him and the prosecutor. The court took into account the position of the victims who did not object to the approval of the agreement and abandoned the civil lawsuit, as well as sincere remorse and active assistance to the accused in disclosing the crime and approved the agreement, condemning him to two years in prison with a one-year trial period, ”it was reported.

We will recall that previously Pavlovsky named those who ordered the assassination of Gandzyuk. A key witness in the murder of a Kherson activist testified against Munger and Levin.

Subsequently, those accused of organizing the attack on Gandzyuk were held in custody. The court upheld the decision of the Dneprovsky district court and did not satisfy Manger and Levin’s defense appeal.
