More than 5 million hectares of agricultural land that must be owned by the State is privately owned. These lands became private property through illegal mechanisms.
This statement was made by the Head of State Geocadastre Roman Leshchenko on the air of the program “Freedom of expression of Savik Shuster”.
According to him, the so-called private privatization mechanism began to operate after 2001, when changes were made to the legislation.
“Now we are putting everything into an electronic record, digitizing it. And by approving the law of the national geospatial data infrastructure, and this coming year, we will show everything: records, when they received them, when they were in office, for whom they were registered ”, he emphasized.
We will recall, recently, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, issued a decree on the transfer of agricultural land from the state to communal property.
As you know, at the end of March, the Verkhovna Rada passed the law on the land market in Ukraine. The land market, according to the adopted document, should start operating on July 1, 2021.
