Ukrainian company to produce multi-component test systems
PCR tests will detect the presence of five diseases: coronavirus and various types of flu.
The Ministry of Health ordered special PCR tests, which, in addition to the coronavirus, can immediately detect several more diseases. Ukrainian manufacturers will develop multi-component test systems. The Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko announced this on the air on Ukraine 24 TV channel.
“We agreed that they will do a test system for five diseases. Coronavirus, influenza, influenza A and B,” Lyashko said.
He noted that today three companies are engaged in the manufacture of PCR systems for the detection of coronavirus in Ukraine. The Ministry of Health ordered the multicomponent test systems from the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Previously, the Ministry of Health explained how COVID tests will be carried out in private laboratories. The state will send samples for analysis to a private laboratory in case it cannot cope on its own.
