“We received the first request last week for a third phase study from a European manufacturer and today we are working on examining these materials. If the materials are sufficient and confirm the safety of this study in Ukraine, then 4.2 One thousand Ukrainian volunteers will be able to participate in this project. When will this happen? We would like to see it as soon as possible, “said Dumenko.

The clinical centers of Kiev, Vinnitsa, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk are being considered to participate in the research. This is where volunteers must go to participate in tests.

On the eve, the academic of the National Academy of Sciences Serhiy Komissarenko said that Ukraine does not have the technical capacity to produce vaccines against the coronavirus, but scientists can develop the vaccine themselves.
