Applicants for a master’s program will be required to take an EMI
The Ministry of Education and Science decided to significantly expand the list of VNO subjects that can be used as a third competitive subject.
The Ministry of Education issued an order On the approval of the conditions for admission to higher education studies in 2021, according to which, by the end of this year, all higher education institutions must approve and publish their admission bases. This was announced on Thursday, October 15 by the department’s press service.
It is highlighted that next year the minimum number of points of the second and third subjects required to participate in the competitive selection for those who enter the medical specialties (Dentistry, Medicine, Pediatrics) will also be 150. The Ukrainian language and mathematics will pass to be compulsory subjects of the UPE, and the third will be choose – biology, chemistry or physics.
Furthermore, the ministry decided that for applicants for the specialties of humanitarian and social leadership, the UPE in Ukrainian language and literature will remain mandatory, and applicants for other specialties will not be able to take literature.
In addition, VNO certificates in Ukrainian language and literature 2018-2020. can be used for admission to all specialties. At the same time, the number of applications that may be submitted for the contract will not exceed 30.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Education decided to significantly expand the list of VNO subjects that can be used as a third competitive subject.
An innovation has appeared for applicants for a master’s program: applicants for all specialties will be required to take a single Foreign Language Entrance Exam (EMI). At the same time, the results of the EMI 2020 were also allowed to be used.

We recall, it was previously reported that the entry-2021 campaign will take place in July. The department is working to make it possible to submit documents for admission remotely.
