According to him, this method of determining the diagnosis is “included in the standard.”

“According to world statistics, up to 30% of PCR tests are negative with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19. This is due to the peculiarities of PCR tests and the physiological characteristics of a person,” Stepanov said.

Earlier it became known that as of now, 35 thousand hospital beds are allocated for coronavirus patients in Ukraine. The maximum number of beds that can be allocated for COVID-19 patients is 52,000.
