The Azerbaijani army took control of six Armenian-occupied settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh. The flag of Azerbaijan was flown in the villages of Arish, Doshulu, Edishe, Dudukchi, Edilli and Chiraguz.

“The glorious Azerbaijani army liberated Arish village in Fizuli region, Doshulu village in Jabrayil and Yedishe region, Dudukchi, Edilli and Chiraguz in Khojavend region,” said the Azerbaijani president.

Recall that the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh worsened on September 27, active battles are being fought in the region. Martial law was introduced in Azerbaijan and Armenia and mobilization announced. The parties reported deaths and injuries, including among the civilian population.

Note that an agreement on an armistice in Nagorno-Karabakh entered into force on October 10.

Despite this, fighting continued in the region. According to the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani troops took control of several more settlements.

In turn, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that there is no truce in Nagorno-Karabakh.
