Regions to receive drugs to treat COVID next week

The drug Remdesivir, used to treat the coronavirus, will be shipped to the region by the end of next week. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on the air of the Right to Power talk show on Thursday, October 15.
According to him, the state buys Remdesivir for 28 thousand patients.
Stepanov added that the Cabinet of Ministers allocated additional funds for the purchase of vaccines against influenza and pneumococcal infections for doctors, educators, police officers, the National Guard military and border guards.
“The total dose we buy is 1 million 410 thousand. Now the purchase is going through an international organization that enters the market. We already have confirmation of about 100,000 doses, we are still waiting for 160,000 doses. This is for budgetary funds so that we can to vaccinate risk groups “, – said Stepanov.
