In Ukraine, the section on epidemic areas has been updated. This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov on Telegram on Thursday, October 15.

The new section will take effect on October 19 and will be in effect for two weeks. Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Chernigov and others entered the red quarantine zone. Kiev remained in the orange zone.

Recall that in Ukraine, no region can weaken the quarantine. The highest incidence rate in 14 days is found in the Sumy, Kharkov and Ternopil regions.

It was also reported that Ukraine changed the criteria for the red zone. The red zone will be announced where there will be 320 patients for every 100,000 of the population within two weeks.
