Restricted movement of residents in Karabakh
In the Karabakh territory, the movement of people and vehicles was restricted and citizens subject to mobilization were prohibited from leaving the “republic”.
The head of the unknown Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, signed a decree imposing restrictions on the free movement of people and vehicles. Sputnik Armenia reported this on Thursday, October 15.
A special regime for travel outside the Karabakh territory was also introduced. To implement temporary restrictions on rights and freedoms, an office of the commander was created by decree.
“Exit from Karabakh territory is limited to citizens subject to mobilization recruitment, and is allowed only in special cases if there is a pass issued by the commander. The commander is also authorized, if necessary, to establish a regime and conditions special for the location and movement, entry (exit) of people and vehicles “, – reads the message about the closure of the NKR.
The director of the so-called “Karabakh State Emergency Service”, Karen Sargsyan, was appointed commander.
On the eve of the Armenian prime minister declared the withdrawal in Karabakh, stating that Armenia suffered “great losses”.
Before that, Armenia said that the Azerbaijani army had been attacking in three or four directions in Karabakh all day.
