Ukraine’s chief health physician, Viktor Lyashko, cited four reasons why, in his opinion, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Ukraine has increased rapidly in recent years. He spoke about this in an interview with NV.

The Chief Medical Officer also added that since the beginning of the school year, the number of sick schoolchildren and students has not changed and is 8%.
“When the children started getting sick, we saw that they were more likely to get sick and bring the virus to school either from the family or from a teacher. There is a clear tendency to participate in mass events, holidays, concerts, weddings. Especially in the latter, where there are more than 100-150-200 people, – if there was a patient, then an outbreak was observed, “added Viktor Lyashko.
As an example, he cited the situation in the Kitsmansky district of the Chernivtsi region, where there were coronavirus patients at three weddings, after which an outbreak occurred in the area and fell into the red level of epidemic danger, and 50% of the sick were invited to three weddings.
As reported, as of October 15, 281,239 COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, of which 5,062 per day.
Previously, scientists predicted the catastrophic spread of COVID in Ukraine. By the end of the month, there will already be one hundred percent filling of beds in “coronavirus” hospitals and the mortality rate will increase.
