Thus, the total lag of the iPhone 12 relative to Android flagships is about 20%. The most significant gap, over 40%, is seen in the GPU test. In other segments, the lag over the iPhone 12 seems less depressing. Thus, in the memory test, the new Apple smartphones are inferior by approximately 6%. At the same time, the test involved iPhone 12 smartphones in a 4/256 GB memory configuration and iPhone 12 Pro in a 6/128 GB configuration.
At the same time, we can notice a slight increase in performance of the new iPhone 12 with the A14 Bionic chip (5nm) compared to last year’s versions of the iPhone 11 with the A13 Bionic processor (7nm). The iPhone 11 Pro Max scored 536.9 thousand points in the AnTuTu 8 test. Therefore, the iPhone 12 series smartphones are ahead of their predecessors by about 5-6%.
