Participants of the march on the occasion of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine near the Office of the President demanded the approval of a law on collaborators and the revocation of broadcasting licenses for various Ukrainian television channels.
Today in Kiev, on the occasion of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, a march of nationalist and patriotic organizations took place. It ended up near the president’s office, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Several thousand participants of the march gathered in the OP building, who expressed their demands: the approval of a law on collaborators, ensuring the effective work of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police to bring citizens to justice. of Ukraine involved in promoting the policy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The activists also demanded to deprive the television channels 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, ZIK and Inter broadcast licenses.
The protesters also insist on lifting the ban on shooting at the Ukrainian military in the area of the Joint Forces operation in response to the use of weapons by the militants.
“The organizers of the march passed their demands on to the Office of the President, after which they lit fireworks and sang the national anthem of Ukraine,” the agency writes.
They did not violate public order.
In Ukraine, October 14 is the Day of the Defender of Ukraine. This holiday was established by the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, in 2014. Since 2015, October 14 is officially a non-working day.
