In Kiev, a UDAR party volunteer and an ATO veteran were attacked with a knife. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, on Facebook on Wednesday, October 14.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition. The incident took place in the Solomensky district. The attacker first aggressively abused the volunteers, then took a knife and wounded one of them in the neck.
In the comments, the press secretary of the Kiev prosecutor’s office, Nadezhda Maksimets, wrote that the attacker was arrested. Law enforcement officers are preparing suspicions of attempted murder.
“Tomorrow the question of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention will be decided,” Maksimets added.
