President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Donbass. As part of his work trip to the Donetsk region, he will present state awards to the military. This was reported by Zelensky’s press service on Wednesday, October 14.
“Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a working trip to the Donetsk region. The head of state will visit the military at the front and present them with state awards,” the statement said.
In particular, Zelensky visited the Naval Operations Center in the JFO area and spoke with the military there.
“I want to thank you on behalf of all Ukrainians for our lives, for our peace, for defending Ukraine, our independence, our sovereignty,” Zelensky said and presented gifts to the military.
The president asked about the living conditions of the military and they invited him to visit their training base.
“Any day we are ready to support the boys. If something is missing, if something is wrong, speak up. The truth is always the most valuable,” Zelensky added.
