49-year-old ATO veteran Nikolai Mikitenko passed away, self-immolated in central Kiev.
This was announced on Wednesday, October 14, by his daughter Yulia Mikitenko on her Facebook page.

- On the night of October 11, in the Plaza de la Independencia, a man born in 1971 poured an incendiary mixture on himself and set it on fire. Eyewitnesses noted that they were trying to knock down the flames. The Press Service of the National Police reported that he was taken to the hospital with 98% of the body burns.
- Later, the identity of the man became known: it turned out to be a famous ATO fighter Nikolai Mikitenko, call sign Raven.
- His daughter Yulia reported that the motives for his act were purely political: “disagreement with the actions of the authorities, that is, the withdrawal of troops on the demarcation line and the progressive occupation of Russia.”
