Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has changed the criteria for including regions in the “red zone” of quarantine. In particular, a fixed incidence rate has replaced the dynamic.
This was announced at a government meeting by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
According to him, a clear indicator of morbidity has been determined when the administrative zone moves to the “red level” of epidemiological danger.
“This is if the incidence rate for 14 days is more than 320 per 100,000 of the population. Before that, the indicator was dynamic five times higher than the corresponding national average,” Stepanov said.
Recall that the quarantine in Ukraine was extended until December 31, 2020. In addition, mass events with the participation of more than 50 people are prohibited throughout the country. Also, depending on the quarantine zone, this restriction is even stricter.
In addition, the requirements for test coverage have been increased. Now they have to do at least 48 tests per 100,000 inhabitants.
They also restricted the work of cafes and restaurants at night.
