In Russia, the daily increase in new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 amounted to 13,634, as reported by the operational headquarters on Tuesday, October 13.

The highest rates are traditionally seen in Moscow, where 4,618 people were infected. Also among the leading regions are Saint Petersburg (+557) and the Moscow region (420).

In total, 1,326,178 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in the country since the start of the pandemic.

244 Russians died per day and the total number of victims increased to 22,966.

During the entire period, 1,031,785 patients were discharged, of which 7,550 were on the last day.
