In a statement posted on Facebook, Kremin demanded that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine carry out explanatory work with all educational institutions to avoid discrimination of students on the basis of language.
«The terrible incident that took place in the gymnasium No. 4 of the city of Odessa, where the teacher allowed herself inappropriate behavior with the girl due to the Ukrainian language, is the answer to the question of what language they are really trying to oppress and what language needs state protection in Ukraine ”, he emphasized. The Ombudsman added that teachers and educators who allow themselves to treat children in this way cannot hold such positions.
We will remember, from the gymnasium number 4 in Odessa we will fire the teacher who humiliated the fifth grader because of the Ukrainian language.
