Anti-coronavirus registrations made the Ukrainian authorities think about tightening the quarantine. The economy does not allow to go to the close of spring. So for now, instead of drastic measures, we have other more cosmetic ones. They decided to donate, first of all, to education.

It was decided to send the schoolchildren on vacation ahead of schedule. The Ministry of Education recommends resting from October 15 to 30. 3. The kindergartens will continue to operate as usual.

Later, he clarified that they would not be forced to evict the students, and that if they leave, they will have to keep a place in the shelter.

The Rada may introduce an additional penalty for ignoring mask mode. The amendments provide for a fine of 3400-5100 hryvnia for companies, entrepreneurs, institutions, organizations that allow people to enter a public institution or public transport without respirators or protective masks.

Also in Ukraine, a ban was introduced on the work of restaurants, clubs, catering establishments after 22:00, as well as at any public events at this time; the restriction is valid for the regions of the red and orange quarantine zones.

“The massive parties in the clubs are over. This also applies to all public events. The authorities are no longer going to look at the violation of the ban with their fingers, ”said Mikhail Radutsky, chairman of the parliamentary committee on the health of the nation.

The date of entry into force of such a ban obviously must be approved by the Cabinet.

And the tests?

Private laboratories are used to process free PCR tests. As explained by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, private laboratories will analyze the samples transferred to them in their equipment. We are not talking about the free admission of patients to private centers: the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 100 million UAH as “additional funds for laboratory centers for tests” in order to reduce the processing time of free PCR tests .

New hospitals

In Kiev, Odessa and Mariupol, they are preparing to deploy emergency infectious disease hospitals in the event of an overload of first and second wave medical institutions. In Kiev, it may be the Palace of Sports.

Medical students and interns will be hired to work in infectious disease wards to make up for the physician shortage.
