Conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenia named its losses

Armenia has confirmed the death of 51 more soldiers as a result of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, bringing the number of casualties among the Armenian army to 480, Interfax reports Monday, October 12.

Furthermore, the Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan announced the death of 23 civilians as a result of the shelling from the Azerbaijani side in Nagorno-Karabakh. Another 81 civilians were injured, Mnatsakanyan told a news conference.

As a result of the hostilities, about 6,000 civilian objects were damaged or destroyed. In addition, 25 energy infrastructure facilities were completely destroyed, added the minister.

Recall that Karabakh previously announced the Azerbaijani offensive. The Azerbaijani army is advancing in various directions, despite the armistice agreement, says the NKR.
