Updated quarantine zoning has come into effect in Ukraine. The incidence of COVID-19 is increasing, a critical situation is developing in the Kharkiv region.
Quarantined and updated zones
As of today, October 12, a new zoning system has started to work in Ukraine: quarantine restrictions in various districts and settlements.
The Ministry of Education recommends that vocational, higher professional and higher education institutions switch to distance education for the period from October 15 to November 15 with the compulsory departure of all students from shelters. In schools, they intend to introduce holidays from October 15 to 30.
Coronavirus situation
During the day, 4,420 new COVID-19 patients were found in Ukraine.
In total, more than 265 thousand people have confirmed coronavirus infection in the country. At the same time, 114,410 patients recovered and 5,015 died.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet of Ministers declares a critical situation with the incidence of COVID-19 in the Kharkiv region.
Truce in Donbass
During the last day, Russian mercenaries in Donbas violated the previously announced ceasefire four times. The enemy, in particular, opened fire with a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms.
