In five regions of Ukraine and Kiev, hospital beds are more than 70% full. In total, in Ukraine, first wave hospital beds for coronavirus patients are 60.9% full.
This is demonstrated by data from the Ministry of Health.
The most loaded hospitals are in the regions of Donetsk (95.4%), Lugansk (93.7%), Odessa (76.7%), Kharkov (72.3%) and Dnepropetrovsk (70.2%).
In Kiev, this figure is 70.9%.
At the same time, the Kirovograd region remains the only region ready to ease quarantine in the country. Here, the incidence rate of coronavirus in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants is 26.7, while the norm is 40. In other regions this indicator is exceeded. On average in Ukraine, it is 168.4.
As of Sunday, hospital beds were occupied by more than 70% in four regions of Ukraine.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, a new quarantine zoning went into effect on Monday, October 12. The “red zone” now includes two cities.
Note that in Ukraine during the last day, 4420 people were infected with coronavirus. Most of the cases are in the Kharkov, Sumy, Rivne, Khmelnytsky regions.
