On October 11, in central Kiev, more than a dozen foreigners, moving in a convoy of cars with foreign symbols, fired a series of shots into the air. No one was injured as a result of the accident.
The Communication Department of the Kiev Police reported this on Facebook.
«Today, around 5 in the afternoon, the Metropolitan Police received a message that a column of cars with symbols of other states was moving in the center of the capital and shots were heard. The law enforcement officers responded immediately to the call and the convoy of cars was stopped in the neighboring district of the capital, ”the message says.
It is noted that the police stopped 6 cars in the Solomensky district of the capital. There were 14 people in them, all of them are citizens of another state.
«According to preliminary information, while they were moving along Hrushevsky Street, unknown individuals fired several shots. Now, law enforcement officers at the scene have found 4 spent cartridges. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, ”Kiev police said.
Regarding the fact of the shooting, the National Police opened a criminal proceeding within the framework of Part 4 of art. 296 (vandalism) of the Penal Code. The sanction of the article provides up to seven years in prison.
At the same time, the video, which is published by the Kiev operative, shows that the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan are hung on the cars and the Ukrainian flag on one of the cars.
We will remember, on October 2 near the central train station in Kiev there was a shooting. As a result of the conflict, a woman suffered minor bodily harm.
