Higher education institutions are switching to distance education due to the coronavirus epidemic. In the meantime, the fall school holidays should start faster. The decision will be made by local authorities, but teachers are asked to send the children to rest before October 15. According to Radutsky, the authorities agreed to such a decision due to a series of COVID-19 outbreaks between university staff and students. “Of course, an information campaign is needed among the students: Young people should understand that today it is better to limit the number of contacts and minimize their stay in crowded places. The life of their parents and grandparents is also their responsibility, “added the parliamentarian.
At the same time, during a meeting with the participation of the president, it was decided that the fall holidays in schools should start earlier.
The start date of the holidays is determined by the local authorities, but it is optimal if the holidays start already next week, before October 15.

According to:
- Already on October 12, the Ministry of Education and Science will prepare and send a letter of recommendation to absolutely all general secondary education institutions (regardless of the color of the quarantine zone). The document will provide for the establishment of vacations from October 15 to 30 inclusive;
- on vocational (vocational), vocational and higher education institutions (regardless of the color of the quarantine zone), they will be advised to switch to distance learning during the period between October 15 and November 15. At the same time, all students must leave the hostel. Shkarlet considers it necessary to return the money for his accommodation;
- but preschool institutions will function as usuale, taking into account all the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Chief Medical Officer.
