Schools will be quarantined
Professional vocational, higher education and higher education institutions will be recommended to switch to distance learning from October 15 to November 15.
The Ministry of Education and Science on Monday, October 12, will recommend to all general secondary education institutions to start the autumn holidays on October 15, recommendations will be sent to all schools regardless of the quarantine zone, said the acting minister of Education and Science Sergey Shkarlet on his Telegram channel.
“Tomorrow a letter of recommendation will be prepared and sent to all general secondary education institutions on the establishment of holidays from October 15 to 30 inclusive,” he wrote.
At the same time, institutions of vocational education, higher education and higher professional education will be recommended to move to distance education from October 15 to November 15 with the mandatory departure of students from shelters.
At the same time, the kindergartens will continue to operate as usual.
According to the Ministry of Health, as of today, more than 70% of hospital beds are filled with coronavirus patients in four regions of Ukraine.
More than 4.7 thousand new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the country per day. Most of the cases were registered in the Kharkov, Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky and Kiev regions.
