The Ombudsman’s Office announced a critical situation regarding COVID-19 in ORDLO

The Ombudsman says local “authorities” are silent on the actual number of COVID-19 patients.

The epidemic situation with coronavirus in the so-called “LDNR” is critical. This was stated by the representative of the Ombudsman in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, Pavel Lisyansky, on Facebook on Saturday 10 October.

Lisyansky says the separatists are giving local residents three diagnoses: acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI), pneumonia and COVID-19.

“People with the first two diagnoses are sent home, and the occupants are silent on the actual number of patients with coronavirus,” said the representative of the Ombudsman’s Office.

Likewise, in ORDLO there are no restrictive measures, such as mask mode, social distance and others, and pharmacies lack personal protective equipment, while separatists do not stop holding mass events.

Remember that Ukraine has an anti-record in the number of deaths from COVID-19. Yesterday in Ukraine 108 patients died with coronavirus, which is more than the anti-record of two days ago, when 93 deaths were reported.

It was also reported that there are more than 500 COVID-19 cases in Kiev per day. At the moment, there are already 26,995 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the capital, 469 people have died.
