Alexander Lukashenko met with political prisoners at the KGB Pretrial Detention Center in Belarus. This was reported by the Telegram channel Pool of the First on Saturday, October 10.
The meeting lasted more than four hours, and was attended by members of the coordinating council of the opposition and the joint headquarters, as well as former presidential candidates, in particular, Victor and Eduard Babariko, Lilia Vlasova and Ilya Salei.
According to the Telegram channel, the meeting concerned amendments to the Constitution of Belarus, which Lukashenka plans to implement in the near future.
“The participants in the general decision kept the content of the conversation secret,” the message says.
Earlier, Lukashenka said that he had saved Tikhanovskaya from a “holy sacrifice.” According to Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian authorities allegedly arranged for Tikhanovskaya to leave for Lithuania and handed him US $ 15,000.
