The head of the Ministry of Education asked the regional authorities to switch to distance education in schools for two weeks.
The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, urged local authorities to transfer schools to distance education for the next two weeks. He wrote about this on Saturday, October 10 on his Telegram channel.
“A request not only as director of the Ministry of Education and Science, but as a parent, to find the opportunity to organize distance learning for our children for the next two weeks,” wrote Sergei Shkarlet.
He added that he knows and understands that the organization of the training is decided on the spot. But it is important that in such a difficult situation, central and local authorities act together.
“Therefore, I ask you to follow the recommendations of the state and local commissions on emergency situations and technological and environmental security, as well as the National Security and Defense Council,” said Sergei Shkarlet.
