Coronavirus in Ukraine October 10: Incidence remains high / HB

During the past day, the coronavirus in Ukraine was found in 5728 people, 108 deaths were recorded, 1920 patients recovered.

This is evidenced by the NSDC data as of Saturday morning 10 October.

Thus, in Ukraine a series of anti-morbidity registrations was interrupted, which were recorded for three days in a row. (5,804 people became ill the day before, 5,397 on October 8, 4,753 on October 7), but the level of infection remains at a consistently high level.

In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 256,266 people fell ill, of which 112,570 recovered, deaths – 4,887.

At the moment, cases of coronavirus disease have been detected:

  • Vinnytsia region – 7466 cases;
  • Volyn region – 9527 cases;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 8580 cases;
  • Donetsk region: 5599 cases;
  • Zhytomyr region – 8024 cases;
  • Transcarpathic region: 10,761 cases;
  • Zaporizhzhya region – 5346 cases;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region: 15,000 cases;
  • Kirovograd region: 1288 cases;
  • Kiev: 26,995 cases;
  • Kiev region: 10,892 cases;
  • Lviv region: 22,386 cases;
  • Lugansk region: 1712 cases;
  • Mykolaiv region: 4394 cases;
  • Odessa region: 16,445 cases;
  • Poltava region – 4206 cases;
  • Rivne region: 14,259 cases;
  • Sumy region: 6633 cases;
  • Ternopil region: 15,590 cases;
  • Kharkov region: 23,852 cases;
  • Kherson region: 1806 cases;
  • Khmelnytsky region – 8464 cases;
  • Chernivtsi region: 16,137 cases;
  • Cherkasy region: 5479 cases;
  • Chernihiv region – 5425 cases.

Data for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are absent.

The government extended the quarantine until October 31, with a softening starting on May 22. The approach to soften or strengthen quarantine remained adaptive, but the principle of region allocation was changed to strengthen quarantine measures.

The country was divided into four zones according to the level of danger of the spread of the coronavirus. Each of them has a certain number of restrictions.

The new quarantine rules went into effect on August 3. The decision to divide the country into zones will be reviewed every 7 days.
