After the quarantine zoning renewal, two cities appeared in the “red” zone: Kaniv, the Cherkasy region and Sumy. Ternopil went from the “red” zone to the “orange”, Kiev rose to this zone from the “yellow”.

The State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies (TEB and ES) in a meeting on October 9 updated the distribution of quarantine zones in Ukraine, reported the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov on Telegram.

He said that Kiev had moved from the “yellow” to the “orange” zone, Kanev from the Cherkasy region remained in the “red”, Sumy had moved from the “orange” to this zone. Ternopil, which was in the “red” zone, on the contrary, turned “orange”.

The minister released a list of settlements and areas that are included in the “orange” and “yellow” zones.







The new epidemic zoning will take effect at 00:00 on October 12 and is scheduled for 14 days.

An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. March 11, 2020 World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic… In March, Ukraine announced a quarantine.

On July 22, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a decree that, depending on the epidemic situation in the region or in the individual administrative-territorial units, establishes the “green”, “yellow”, “orange” or “red” level of the epidemic danger of the spread of COVID-19.

On August 26, Ukraine extended the adaptive quarantine until November 1.

On September 16, Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers amended the decree on the rules for zoning regions based on the epidemic situation, softening the requirements to refer the region to the “red” zone.

As of October 9, 250,538 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the country, of which registration 5804 – during the last day… 4,779 COVID-19 patients died, 110,650 patients were cured.
