Servant of the People supported the idea of ​​purchasing vaccines in the Russian Federation

Earlier, the opposition people’s deputy allowed the possibility of supplying the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V to Ukraine.

Ukraine will be obliged to buy a Russian coronavirus vaccine if it is proven effective. This was stated by the popular deputy of the faction. Servant of the people Alexander Kachura on the air of the television channel Newsone on Friday, October 9.

According to the politician, in the context of the coronavirus epidemic, whose number of cases is increasing at a record rate, the health of citizens must come first.

“If the Russian vaccine proves its effectiveness, there are adequate recommendations, we will be forced to buy, I think,” said the politician.

We will remember, before the head of the party Opposition Platform: Lifetime Viktor Medvedchuk, in a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussed the possibility of supplying Ukraine with the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus.

At the same time, the Russian leader said that the official Ukrainian authorities should formulate their requests accordingly.

However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Medvedchuk’s remarks “pre-election initiatives by certain cynics” and the Russian vaccine “an unproven remedy.”
