The new zoning will be in effect as of Monday, October 12 for 14 days. Also in the orange zone, in particular, Kharkov, Odessa, Dnipro and Lviv.
Regions that entered a certain zone at the last commission meeting (October 1) will be able to move to another zone only after 14 days.
In the red zone were:
- the city of Kanev, Cherkasy region;
- Sumy town, Sumy region.
To the orange zone:
- city Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia and Nemirovsky districts of the Vinnytsia region;
- cities Lutsk, Volodymyr-Volynskiy, Kovel and Novovolynsk, Volodymyr-Volynskiy, Kivertsovskiy, Lutskiy, Rozhishchevskiy and Tereyskiy districts of the Volyn region;
- city Dnieper and the Dnepropetrovsk region of the Dnepropetrovsk region;
- the cities of Bakhmut, Ugledar, Kramatorsk, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk and Slavyansk, Slavyansky district of the Donetsk region;
- cities Zhytomyr, Berdichev, Korosten and Novograd-Volynsky, Berdichevsky, Zhitomirsky, Korostensky, Korostyshevsky, Luginsky, Lyubarsky, Naroditsky, Ovruchsky, Olevsky, Pulinsky, Chernyakhovsky and Chudnovsky districts of the Zhytomyr region;

Earlier, the media reported that the Cabinet of Ministers plans to change the criteria for the red zone.
The quarantine in Ukraine was extended until October 31. The approach to soften or strengthen quarantine remained adaptive, but the principle of region allocation was changed to strengthen quarantine measures.
The country was divided into four zones according to the degree of danger of the spread of the coronavirus. Each has certain restrictions.
In Ukraine, for the third day in a row, anti-registrations are recorded in the number of new cases of infection per day: during the previous day, the coronavirus was found in 5804 people, the day before, in 5397 people, on October 7, at 4753.
As of October 9, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 250,538 people fell ill, of which 110,650 recovered and there were 4,779 deaths.
