In Ukraine, today October 8, the quarantine zones have been updated, depending on the epidemiological situation in the regions. The decision will take effect on October 12.

The corresponding decision was made by the State and Regional Commissions for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

Quarantine zoning has been updated in Ukraine: what has changed

TO the “red zone” quarantined: Kanev and Sumy.

Prohibited: operation of public transport; the work of the shopping center, cafes and restaurants.

TO “orange zone” hit: Kiev, Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Dnipro. Zhitomir, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Rovno, Ternopil, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernigov.

Work forbidden: shelters and camps; restaurants, nightclubs at night; gyms, fitness centers, cultural institutions (with the exception of institutions that can provide visits to no more than one person for every 10 square meters of room); children’s camps; massive gatherings of more than 100 people (one person for every 20 square meters).

According to the new zoning rules, the rule on the prohibition of transport in public transport when 50% of the seats are occupied is eliminated.

TO “yellow zone” quarantine entered Zaporozhye.

Prohibited: visit social security institutions where older people are (except those who provide services).

The rest of regions and cities are included in “green area”… Requires the use of masks or respirators in public buildings; during mass events, one person is allowed for every 5 m2. subway; cinemas can only be 50% full; The transport of passengers in public transport is only allowed with masks and in passenger seats.

Additionally, RBK-Ukraine wrote that in four regions, hospital beds are more than 70% full with coronavirus patients.
