Azerbaijan will return its lands by any means, says Aliyev
Armenia has a “last chance” to leave Nagorno-Karabakh peacefully, says the President of Azerbaijan.
On Friday, October 9, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared once again that Armenia should leave Nagorno-Karabakh and gave Yerevan “the last chance” to do so peacefully, writes TASS.
“Armenia must accept the basic principles of conflict resolution and abandon the occupied territories. The only way to save them is to abandon our territories. We have repeatedly proposed [Еревану] comply with the resolutions of the UN Security Council. They stated that Azerbaijan will not tolerate the current situation, “he said.
Aliyev stressed that today the battles are taking place on the entire front line. “In all directions, Azerbaijan is strengthening its positions. We are forcing the aggressor to peace. This is the main objective of the operation,” he said.
Aliyev said that Azerbaijan will return its lands by any means.
He also noted that the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Armenia, which is being held in Moscow, will clarify many issues.
