According to the newspaper, protesters from the opposition parties gathered in the central square and clashes broke out between them. The protesters threw bottles and stones at each other. Some protesters flee the scene. The confrontations between the supporters of the action began. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov and former President Almazbek Atambayev with former Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov.

As previously reported, by order of Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, a state of emergency was introduced in the capital. As part of the state of emergency, troops will enter the city. The Vice Minister of the Interior, Almazbek Orozaliev, has been appointed commander of the capital.

Parliamentary elections were held in Kyrgyzstan on October 4. Of the 16 participating parties, four have overcome the electoral barrier. The official results of the vote sparked massive protests from residents. The protesters seized the parliament building and the president’s office, and released former head of state Almazbek Atambayev and other politicians from jail.
