The head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andriy Kobolev, said a criminal case has been opened against the company’s management, based on treason charges.
«The case concerns the activities of the company management. But it is difficult to research management activities without the Kobolev name. It is based on charges of high treason. When it’s open, I don’t know. I received the documents on this matter today, ”he told Hromadsky Radio.
According to Kobolev, the company considers this «a very insistent invitation to a public discussion “and we are ready to accept it”:
«We have nothing to hide. And we are absolutely open to the state audit of the debt reserve and all other matters. “
The head of the board added that «he lost count ”of the number of criminal cases against Naftogaz.
«Personally, I stopped counting after I was personally fined 8 billion hryvnia in 2018. The State Customs imposed such a fine on me as an individual. Then we were able to show in court that there were no grounds to sanction and that this fine was incorrect, “he recalled.
According to Economic Truth, the State Audit Service forwarded the results of the Naftogaz audit to the Main Counterintelligence Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the economic sphere. The audit report reports on large-scale violations and ineffective management decisionswhich «can testify about the commission of a crime, writes Economic Pravda.
The publication with reference to the audit of the company for the period from October 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019 writes that due to financial violations in the enterprise, the state budget lost 75.5 billion UAH.
