Fedorov and Lazebnikov present an investment project for a data center in the Kherson region
The data center will operate equipment worth approximately $ 1 billion; its maintenance requires at least 200 jobs.
IT holding company TECHIIA will build a data center with a capacity of up to 500 MW in the Kherson region for storage, data processing and 3D rendering. This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
According to him, the head of the Ministry of Digital Industry Mikhail Fedorov and TECHIIA’s managing partner Yuri Lazebnikov signed a memorandum of cooperation on the construction of data centers, the development of information technologies, e-sports and STEM education.
The cooperation provides for the implementation of the Ecotechnopark project, which is based on the construction of a data center that solves the global problem of high-speed data processing.
The heat from the data center equipment is planned to be used on an agricultural farm, which will also be part of the Ecotechnopark.
The first phase of the project involves at least $ 200 million in infrastructure investments. The data center will operate equipment worth approximately $ 1 billion; its maintenance requires at least 200 jobs.
Earlier, the Kharkiv mayor’s office ordered to start work on the project of the area of technical and technological information of Ukraine Silicon Valley. The project will be executed on the basis of the Ecopolis KhTZ high-tech business park.
