He stressed that continued financial cooperation with the EU is especially important in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to him, the Ukrainian side thanks the EU for the provision in June this year of the second tranche of the fourth macro-financial assistance program and the continuation of such financial cooperation within the framework of the new “exceptional” EU macro-financial assistance program to Ukraine. in the amount of 1, which was launched quickly in July this year. 2,000 million euros.

We will recall that previously the Ministry of Finance named the risks to the economy in 2021. The slowdown in growth of the Ukrainian economy next year will be a decrease in gas transit, a low harvest, an increase in unemployment, a decrease in attraction loan and Russia.

In addition, the Ministry of Finance made a forecast for the “hole” in the state budget. By the end of September, the budget revenue deficit will be reduced to UAH 13 billion and, by the end of the year, it will disappear.
