The fire was allegedly caused by a grass fire, from which the blaze spread to warehouses.

According to TASS, residents are being evacuated from more than 10 nearby settlements within a 5 km radius. Russia’s Emergency Ministry alerted the Il-76 plane to extinguish the fire. The fire reached the village of Kuzminka-2.

Earlier it was reported that in Crimea on the morning of Wednesday, October 7, the Yalta sanatorium caught fire, which after the annexation of Crimea was ordered by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It was also reported that as of Wednesday morning, October 7, nine out of ten major fires in forests, reeds and dry grass have been eliminated.
