Coronavirus disease is currently confirmed in 22 members of the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by Verkhovna Rada spokesman Dmitry Razumkov on the air of television channel 112 Ukraine.

According to him, 52 deputies have been infected with the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic. This is a high figure, but many deputies communicate with voters in regions and districts, increasing the risk of infection, Razumkov stressed.

“Of all the parties and political groupings, we switched to that mode of work a little earlier than planned. We did not have meetings last Thursday and Friday due to the increased incidence within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, both among the deputies and between the personnel of the apparatus “, added. Razumkov said.

Previously, the media reported, citing sources, that Verkhovna Rada confirmed the coronavirus in 75 people: 49 deputies and 26 employees of the Verkhovna Rada apparatus.
