The service centers of the Ministry of the Interior of Ukraine began to issue “green” numbers for electric vehicles. Drivers are advised that the road cameras will recognize them as normal.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of the Interior on Facebook.
It is reported that cars with such numbers will be able to park in specially designated places, where uninterrupted access to charging stations will be guaranteed. Drivers will also be able to take advantage of the traffic signs “For electric vehicles”, “Except electric vehicles” and “Electric vehicle charging station”.
Note that, unlike the usual numbers for electric cars, they contain the Latin letter “Z”.

Recall that last year the law on “green” numbers for electric vehicles was passed. This law also introduced fines in the amount of 340-510 hryvnia for ordinary car drivers for parking in special places for electric cars.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also plans to exempt imports of vehicles and electrical components from tax.
