The People’s Deputy from the opposition platform – For Life, Viktor Medvedchuk, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the meeting, he said that he had been vaccinated with the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus.

The meeting took place in Novo-Ogaryovo, reports the Kremlin press service.

According to Medvedchuk, he, his son and his wife were vaccinated with the Russian vaccine.

«I put up with it very well and I think this is the most effective remedy to date in the fight against coronavirus, “Medvedchuk added.

A pro-Russian politician asked Putin about the possibility of supplying a vaccine to Ukraine.

«I would like to raise the question of the possibility of considering the fact that this vaccine also came to Ukraine so that future Ukrainian citizens are protected from this terrible disease, ”said the people’s deputy.

Putin responded that there is such an opportunity. According to him, this requires an agreement with the Ukrainian authorities.

«As for the vaccine you mentioned, yes, of course. I repeat: why not? If we start this work with Belarus, we can also work with Ukraine. We must work with specialists from Ukraine to implement this plan. It is necessary for the official authorities of Ukraine to formulate their requests and needs accordingly. We are prepared for this job, regardless of political difficulties, ”said the President of the Russian Federation.

On August 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the country registered the first vaccine against the coronavirus. He noted that one of his daughters had already been vaccinated.

In Germany, the Russian vaccine was called «a risky experiment in humans. “And in the United States, they said it is important not to make the vaccine the first, but to make a vaccine that is safe and effective.

Belarus has become the first country to receive the Russian coronavirus vaccine. Vladimir Putin and the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko agreed on this. On October 2, Venezuela received the first batch of the Russian vaccine.
