NBU set official exchange rates for Tuesday
On the interbank market, the dollar for sale exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks to 28.42 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase also increased by 5 kopecks, to 28.41 hryvnia per dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the hryvnia’s exchange rate by 6 kopecks against the dollar and 17 kopecks against the euro on Tuesday, October 6. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Monday, October 5.
Thus, the official dollar rate rose to a maximum in more than two years. Above the rate was the last time on September 5, 2018: 28.49 hryvnia per dollar.
The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:
– 100 US dollars – 2840.09 hryvnia (+0.0601 UAH)
– 100 euros – 3,340.37 hryvnia (+0.1713 UAH).
In the interbank foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale increased by 5 kopecks to 28.42 hryvnias per dollar, the purchase rate also increased by 5 kopecks, to 28.41 hryvnias per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale increased by 19 kopecks to 33.49 hryvnia per euro.
Recall that last week the NBU reduced the sale of foreign exchange in the interbank market by more than three times – to $ 51.1 million. At the same time, in September, the balance of the National Bank’s interventions was negative and amounted to $ 200 million.
