During the night battles on Friday, October 2, Azerbaijani troops managed to take control of the heights near Madagis.
Furthermore, on October 3, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced that the Azerbaijani offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh had been stopped.
At the same time, Turkey expressed the hope that Azerbaijan will continue its offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh.
