Shakhtar national teams passed coronavirus tests on match day with Desna

Yesterday it became known that two Shakhtar players, Andriy Pyatov and Taras Stepanenko, had positive COVID-19 tests. As a result, the whole team went into quarantine, and the Ukrainian team went to Paris not only without Pyatov and Stepanenko, but also with other Shakhtar players.

According to our information, the Shakhtar players summoned to the location of the Ukrainian team, as well as the club staff involved in the national team, underwent coronavirus tests on Sunday, October 4. The tests of the players and club staff were carried out by specialists from the UEFA-certified Synlab laboratory. According to UEFA medical protocol, national team players had to undergo the tests three days before the game with France, that is, on Sunday.

The test results were received in the evening, after the game Desna, Shakhtar.

Note that the Shakhtar conducted the scheduled tests on September 29 and all tests were negative.
