“We are closely following the development of events in Germany with the Nord Stream 2 project and we hope that our partners will see the potential to increase the use of existing infrastructure, as stated in all EU documents,” he added.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian GTS operator pumped 39.5 billion cubic meters in 9 months of 2020. m of gas. This is 40% less than in the same period last year (65.4 billion cubic meters).
The joint agreement between Ukraine and Russia on gas, reached on December 20, 2019, does not provide for the direct supply of Russian gas to Ukraine.
