Today a new quarantine zoning came into effect

On Monday, October 5, the new quarantine zoning came into effect. The “red zone” now includes two cities.

The corresponding decision was made by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

“Red zone”

Ternopil city
Kanev city, Cherkasy region

Prohibited: operation of public transport; work of shopping and entertainment centers, cafes and restaurants.

“Orange zone”

Vinnitsa, Lutsk, Dnipro, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov, Nikolaev, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi were included in the “orange zone”.

It is forbidden: the work of hostels, tourist centers, etc. (except hotels); entertainment venues, restaurants at night; planned hospital admissions; gyms, gyms, except those that receive visitors at the rate of 1 person per 10 square meters, cultural institutions; acceptance of new changes in children’s camps; restrictions for massive events: 1 person per 20 m2 and no more than 100 people.

According to the new zoning rules, the rule on the prohibition of transport in public transport is canceled when 50% of the seats are occupied.

“Yellow zone”

This zone includes Kiev, Kryvyi Rih, Zhitomir, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kherson, Cherkasy and Chernigov.

Prohibits visits to social welfare institutions where there are older people, other than those who provide “crisis” services.

“Green area”

All other regions and cities are included in this zone. It is mandatory to wear a mask or respirator during your stay in the room; keep your distance during massive events (1 person for every 5 square meters); observance of distance during events in cultural institutions (50% seat occupancy) transportation of people by public transport within the number of seats. These restrictions apply in other areas as well.

Recall that the head of the State Food and Consumer Service in Kiev, Oleg Ruban, said that anti-coronavirus registrations in Ukraine will be registered daily until March 2021. The daily dynamics will range from 5 to 7 thousand new cases per day.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, previously the head of the World Health Organization office in Ukraine Jarno Habicht said that the daily incidence could rise to 9 thousand new cases.
